Cant make up my mind between the two. motor is probably going to stay stock maybe some cams in the future. Running the powerduals now and they work well but tired of dragging them in the turns. Loud and performance is my priority
I personally prefer the D&D. Top notch pipe and customer service. Have a Fatcat on my '15 and love it. The neighborhood has a different opinion though.
Another vote for D&D. I like the looks better and the sound is way more powerful. I had the Fatcat on my stage I 96" 2010 FLTRX and I am running the Boarzilla on my current setup.
I had a DD fact on my 08 Road Glide, loved it. I just put a black Dracula 2 on my 2016 RGU. Sounds sweet, the power seems to be improved but don't have a lot of miles on the pipes yet. The price is right, quality is outstanding and they look very nice.
Have no experience with Thunder header, but if you choose the DD, you should be happy. Enjoy
Whats the hype over the dragula 2? Anybody know how they sound? seems like they are priced about the same as far as the thunderheaders. What don't you like about your fat cat?
Thunderheader all day in my opinion, but it's all personal preference in the end. I went from the TH slip ons from the dealership to blacked out true dual TH's. Performance great, and man they sound bitchin
Yeah I had the dual thundercones on my last bike and they sounded good. was thinking this go around running the 2-1 for some more power and louder sound if possible
I don't remember exactly... Frank did tell me there would be a slight delay when I called, but he called me about a week later to tell me he was shipping it out and it was at my house in a few days. I was really surprised with how quickly it shipped. Frank informed me of any delays beforehand and they were shorter than his estimates... I guess I timed it just right.
It's worth the wait though. Be ready to fight the box when it gets there. I think it was more difficult to take out of the package than to get on the bike lol
Thunderheader is my favorite pipe. Have one on my evo fxst and have one on my 2011 road glide.
Lucky13 if your only going to do cams down the road and not worried about peak HP numbers then a standard TH would suit you fine. Hard to get over 100hp out of the standard TH on a 103. Torque will be very good with it.
I'm buying a preowned Dragula 2 for mine to try because I've done the heads, cams, and bumped compression and want to get better peak numbers.
Talk to frank today and bummer is the black dragula2 won't be in stock till the end of march, that tells me in my hands in April I don't know about you guys but I have horrible patience suck!!!!!!
buddy is running the thunderheader so I know what that sounds like, doesn't seem like there is a lot of the D&D out here in cali
