I haven't tried these because I lucked up and found a nice "used" pair of CFRs.. Great price, though I Google-d the part number
"M-TP-1004 / DNA MEGAPHONE" and found Eastern Performance has them $10 cheaper; I have bought stuff from them... As far as loud, they save lives.

I made the mistake yes...i bought them 2 months ago...as a quick fix to a quiet bike :) I just ordered the RC Components RCX Excaliburs off ebay for 400!

Those things are garbage...they were great for a week...then i had to add washers to stop them from loosening their bolts, then i had to keep screwing the caps back in as the screws worked their way out. After I fixed all that...now after 2 months they sound like a cat trying to scratch its way out of a garbage can.

save your money...either wait 6 months and support CFR or don't get megaphones!

Don't buy knockoff CFR mufflers, too many people complain about the quality issues, and the fiberglass packing always gets blown out in a few weeks. You'll have to keep re-wrapping the baffles and regret ever getting them. Tho some people enjoy them, I just sold my real CFR mufflers that I had on my bike for a few years, never once had an issue, sounded A-mazing till the day I took them off! Only went with a performance 2 into 1 for power reasons. Just save up and wait for real CFR's .

I will say thank you for the sale of those CFR's and head pipe. Was on a group ride this past weekend and everyone was coming over to my bike during the stops to find out what I had done to the bike.

Knockoffs

Just remember, "you get what you pay for." If it's worth doing, then just save up the money and do it once. JMO!
