Will solo seat fit over driver backrest mount?

Does my harley backrest bracket have to come off to mount a solo seat? Thanks.

I'm not aware of any solo seats that will allow use of the H-D backrest.

I ride a solo saddleman. With that seat, yes, you have to take the backrest mount out. On my '06 its just 3 bolts. Pretty easy to do.
