Custom Corbin Gunfighter

I got my Corbin Gunfighter done at their factory yesterday and I love it! I tried to keep the stock seat look with the diamond pattern which I liked and I think they did great job.

I added some "scalloped" striping to go with the design, but the color turned out to be too silver. I'm going to try and maybe get some dye to tone it down a couple of shades. They also added a cutout on the tail section to mirror the pattern on the rear fender.

The seat is firm which I like about Corbins so I know I will need to ride it a bit to let it break-in. The backrest is comfortable and I feel very secure, and not worry about falling off when i hit the throttle.

I had them try to shave as much near the nose to bring me down. I'm almost flat footed, if I sit up near the nose. I had them also pad the back to push me up as much as possible without having me sit on the tank, lol. I think I will still need new handlebars but I can comfortably reach my toe shifter without reaching now.

Here are some pics. Sorry but they're taken with my phone and not in daylight.

I received my new gunfighter on New Year's Eve from them.. I had them cover the whole seat in shiny black alligator and love it. I've had several Corbin's and wouldn't ride anything else. I got matching backrest also.

Both seats look great. It's a bit hard to tell from the pictures because the bikes are on their sidestands not standing up straight, but it sure looks like the back (passenger) section of the seat slopes down at an angle that would be very uncomfortable for anyone sitting on it. Is that true? So do you have another seat you use when riding 2-up, or just tell the sweety to hold on real tight? Looks like this seat design is all about the rider and 'the look', rather than any real consideration for a passenger. Just curious ...

It definitely slopes downward and even Corbin's website says its for short rides with a pax, though its nicely padded. I have never had to ride 2-up since my boyfriend rides his own. .

Very nice! Looks great with the yellow. I saw all kinds of seats at the factory with all different kinds of covers....makes it hard to decide. Lol.

Thanks for the feedback, Love that CVO paint. Orange, it's the "new black" - but sexier! But I may be biased.

My previous bike was orange...so yeah, I'm partial to that color.
