Picked up a Madstad from a member here; Been wanting one for awhile..Clear 13".
Easy install, went with some review here and initially set at around parallel with the angle of the mounting piece.
Ride to work regularly up the 95 corridor to DC/Arglinton, VA
Started off unremarkable, got on the crazytrain called I95 north. There was some turbulence, head height, figured I will need to keep adjusting and Meh.... Going with the flow of traffic, got to 80, and there it was, a really sweet spot from my shoulders up, Wow...so adjusted a little higher and increased the angle slightly..way home was super sweet!!

One major thing I did notice was a drastic increase in airflow coming into my knees and angled up to my midriff. Interesting..now in the summer it would be welcome..in colder riding, could be interesting..Was thinking about the GADS system, seems like the airflow is coming right where the GADS is mounted. Anyone else have that issue?

My hands are definitely getting more air. I like air movement and have ridden fairly long rides with a short shield. Heated gear should take care of me.

As far as the looks...looks good to me...and the improvement in the upper torso air is spectacular..funny how it does shake at idle tho!!..maybe a 14.5 inch would help the hands..maybe I'll pick up a light smoked 14.5...someday...

Sancho wings, fairing lowers and HD crash bar baffles take care of all the underneath air flow.

I run a 14.5 MS with Sancho wings and don't have this problem. Been running this setup for over 4 years and 50 K now and no complaints. I have an ultra and run my lowers year round, I know that makes a difference also. I'm running the 95 corridor from Stafford to Springfield daily so I can relate to all you're talking about.

Ive had sanchos..for some odd reason i break them in my garage walking by..done it twice...so I have two lefties..lol...the air seems to be lower than sanchos deal with....I think lowers would most likely work..Id have to do something with my PIAA driving lights...its not really a problem..just an interesting development....

Been messing around with the height and angle and Im sold on this thing..the air, even with lower, is super smooth..I also put one of the remaining sanchos wing on and it really does make a difference...on my left side..lol..anyone got an extra right side laying around?

Do you have the older bigger ones or the newer smaller Sancho wings ?
