After an excruciating wait of over 13 weeks Fedex just delivered my new bar! It was ready 2 weeks ago, but the black pearl cables were back ordered. Bill said that his wait time has gone down now to about 4 weeks, much better for new customers. Sucks for me, but I'm happy to finally have the finished product in my hands.

I held it up on the bike and can already tell this bar is going to feel very comfortable over the heritage style bars I have on now.

Will post more pix when I get it installed.

Black Pearl Cables are from Magnum. BR offers them on his site when you order bars. Not sure if you can order just cables through them.

The bar dimensions are 12" tall, 9" pull back and 32" wide. They are 1.5" thick, but cut down to fit the clamp and housings. They are fatties for sure!

I'm hoping install starts next week!

I should be getting mine in shortly. This week with any luck. And after looking at the pic I cannot wait. I got the 1.5" as well and seeing yours I'm pumped.

they look great , I love my BR bars

First snag is my GPS mount. I have the Harley mount coming off the left controls. The arm is too small to accept the 1.5 bar. Ordered Iron Aces mount and when that comes in we can get started.

BR New Wave 2 installed

Just picked up the bike tonight so the picture is crummy. Had to wait on the installation as I had to order a new GPS mount (Iron Aces) and then had to order new grips as my old grip was glued really tight to the heritage bar.

Had a short ride home but I could tell a vast difference on the wrist angle and no shoulder blade pinch.

I'll post more pix soon

New Wave 2 side

Here's a side view. I rode it for awhile today with no pain or numbness in my hands. I'm sitting better in the saddle and have no problems with turning or feeling out of control like I did with the Heritage bars. One thing I did learn throughout this process is not to wire the Zumo 665 through the middle tray into the fairing. Turning the handlebar to the left pinched it so bad, it cut off the power and antenna to the GPS. Had to order a whole new cable/connector today. Everybody loves the Iron Aces mount though.

These bars are higher than the Heritage Style bars - even though they say they are 12". I'm just a little forward on the forks, but not much.

I'm stuck between the KW's 2 + 2's, KW's 12" Fate Apes and the BR's like you have. I'm paranoid about the width because the bars I got said 38" but with grips, they are 42". If you have time, can you measure grip to grip end and I promise I'll go away.............maybe. *&#@ BAR CHOICES

I have Iso grips and the measurement was 36 1/2 end to end. I'm 5'7. Here is a pix a friend shot of me with the new bars. I have some bend in my arms, although the right arm is deceiving. You can check out Bill on his website. He has a lot of videos showing the bars.

The cost was over 600 bucks for the bars and black pearl cables. The internal wiring needed to be extended.

After riding a few days, I will say they make a huge difference. I am the most comfortable on my bike now than I've ever been. The heritage style bars were not for me.

The extra pullback of the bars and the wrist angle made the difference.
