Ordered a set of KST 12" Outlaws in polished yesterday. They will be here today. Hoping to get them on this afternoon after work. Planning on taking lots of pics to share here to help anyone else out who is doing bars on their 2015-16's! Pics to follow!!

Waiting on 14"Yaffe's. .. so installed 12's in the meantime.... 1.5 hours tops... piece of cake

How long did yaffe tell you? I was going to order a set of 12s but heard from a few people they still have not filled ANY orders on the 2015 bars...

These took my probably 2.5 total work time. I got lazy when I was pulling the tbw side and had to basically redo it which ended up kicking my ass. These literally took my longer then the yaffes on my 2010. How? I have NO idea!

Definitely post up some pics and feedback of install. I ordered the 12" outlaws in polished as well, ordered on the 29th and anxiously waiting for delivery. The stock bars just aren't going to cut it for me.
You will like them. The polished finish is really nice! Install isn't really bad either.

Ok so here is my write up for installing the bars:

Tools needed:
- t25 and t27 torx
- 1/4" allen wrench bit (IIRC)
- channel locks
- vice grips
- flat head screwdriver
- pick set
- wire pulling tools of choice

Steps:

- cover painted surfaces to not damage them
- remove ignition switch (really easy. turn to fork lock position, reach under and hold little button while turning key slightly counter clockwise) it will then lift right out. Don't lose the spring.
- use some channel locks to pull the lock ring thing and then the other silver piece of the ignition tube or whatever the proper name is. Note the position, even though it only goes back on one way
- remove two t25 torx screws on sides of cluster. Lift cluster away and unplug the 3 plugs
- remove trip odometer button on left switch housing using a flat head screwdriver, it just pops off. There is a little detent under it that holds it on
- remove front switch housings, then remove master cylinders and lay them somewhere safe
- if you are reusing the stock control clamshell clamps you will need to break off or grind down the pins on them. They break of very easily with a pair of small vice grips
- disconnect tbw plug and the 3 plugs for the controls
- remove riser bar clamp
- bars should be free to just lift away now
- remove bar pin with vice grips
- depin tbw plug
- remove switches from bars (there is a little clip that undoes them and lets them come off
- pull wires out of old bars
- pull control and tbw wires through new bars and reinstall everything in the opposite direction
- cut zip ties holding brake and clutch lines to free up some slack and allow you to re-route them for a little bit extra room. There was PLENTY of slack for these bars and I really only spent about a minute re-reouting the hoses.

Didn't take pics pulling the wires since its so simple with these controls. Only plug that needs to be unpinned is the tbw and that is a breeze.

Yep no pulling the fairing which is sweet! Have to play with the tbw tomorrow. After install the bike started and reved fine. about a mile down the road it started missing ever so slightly like I was backing on and off the throttle, then it got worse and engine light came on. I really think it's just a loose pin in the female plug in the harness but who knows. It's to intermittent to be a cut wire or the green plug I think.

Edit: It was the silly green connector. I was able to get it out far enough from the grip side to plug it in firmly, and put some super glue on the outside of the connector to keep it together until I get the yaffe bars I want, which then I will add the cvo tbw with no plug like I did on my old bike.

You don't have to depin the tbw but then you would have to undo the green plug and the 2 wire black plug. You could do it that way but be careful to not mess up that green plug. It screwed me and I had to pull mine back apart. I super glued it together so it is never coming apart now. I will use the cvo style tbw on my next set of bars. All in all, its a really simple job.

Well, I got them mounted up. No pics yet. Pulling the wires was a breeze. I just disconnected the green tbw plug, taped it up real good, staggered the connectors on the throttle side and pulled everything thru. Took all of 30 minutes to pull wires from stock bars and pull thru new bars. Total time was about 3 hrs though. I had some trouble getting the hand controls back on! The wires at the handlebar switches kicked my azz when trying to get them back in the switch to my liking, lol. I also spent some time adjusting the bars to where I felt comfortable, which require taking the Speedo and tach cluster off each time. Everythings working like it should but now I have another problem.....the new klockwerks 14" windshield I just bought won't fit!!!! The bars hit just before full lock! Ugh!!!!!
