For those of you waiting on a set of Factory 47 bars, mine just arrived... Ordered on Jan. 25th with an expected ship date of 2nd weekin March! Looks like the boys over there have been putting in some OT!

Black or chrome? I have had mine on order before yours by a week or so..., but not direct.... just trying to see... told me the same lead time ( 1st week of march )

Not too shabby considering you ordered a custom bar on xmas weekend
Your a month off... lol!!!

Chyna did they send you an email with a tracking # or did they just show up?
I ordered mine the same day but in chrome haven't heard nothing yet.

LOL thanks I wish they would hurry up and get here, so I can start working on getting them on, instead of shopping for more stuff. I am past my upgrade limit for this year. Waiting on bars have new mirrors, riser bushings, grips, chrome fender trim, Daymakers and GADS waiting to put on......... Tax man better hurry up with my refund!!!

Ordered my 10" Assault bars (PC black) on 31 December. Contacted F47 on 26 January, and they said I was slated for production, and the "anticipated ship date", and tracking info would be supplied 9 February (yesterday). Nothing yet. Holding out on installing my chrome fork sliders 'til the bars arrive, so I only have to pull the bars once.

I've already gotten so bored waiting, that I've already swapped out the grips and levers on the old bars, just to see what they look like. I've got several pair of mirrors to choose from, but can't decide 'til the new bars are on. Grrrrr......

FYI... you don't have to remove your bars to to the sliders... I didn't.... use the lower triples to clamp back onto fork tubes when you lower them... then just crack the caps loose, loosen the lower triple clamp bolts and slide them out.

Just noticed on the factory 47 sight that they changed the days to delivery from 15 to 20 days so they know they are a little behind but even if it is business days mine should ship out next week. We will see. But damn its freezing here anyway don't know how long I could stand working in the garage and just how brittle some of the plastic pieces would be when the temps are in the teens.

F47 Update (sort of)

Left a nasty voicemail at F47 this morning, and finally got an email reply.

Supposedly, my bars didn't pass QC, so they're headed back to powdercoat. They said the bars should ship next week. They tried to justify the 7 week production time on the fact that I ordered "custom bars". When I ordered, they said there would be a 30 day delay for the "custom order". They offered me a t-shirt to compensate for the wait.

So- I'm waiting (again). I guess that will give me some time to detail the rest of the bike. Grrrrr...

Yeah waiting sucks, if mine ship the day they tell me it will be 6 and 1/2 weeks from when I put in my order. SO much for the 15 days that it said on their sight. But have gotten my 10K service all but done, will finish up tomorrow. Then will be detail time while I wait. Oh and should have Daymakers here tomorrow to put in.

HiFiHo, sorry to hear about your troubles. Maybe I missed it earlier in the thread but today you said they were custom order bars. What was custom about them if you don't mind me asking. FYI to everyone else if anyone likes the black 14" RG Assault bars they're on EBay from factory 47 ready to ship. Just ordered a set last night.

Yeah... 8 weeks is a long time when waiting on parts. My bars are the "Assault" also, which they don't make for the '15 and up Road Glide. Which is what makes it "custom build". They offer a bit more pullback than the Malo.

You'll probably get yours before I get mine. After fit-up, please post some photos, and let us know how you like them.

I ordered my 14" Malos on 21 Jan..... this was AFTER I ordered a set of 14" YMB's on 15 AUG ( which just showed up last week!) I told them to stick those where the sun don't shine... I can wait til 1st week of March after waiting almost 6 months for Yaffee's....

I think I'll be happier I went with Factory47 anyway....

Just found out they shipped my bars yesterday. Super stoked, they said March 3rd or earlier. :) Checked the tracking, they should be here on Friday. :) I ordered mine around the same time you did Spazz.

Has anyone run the Pico bar from them? I like the idea of the bend bringing the bar a bit closer to you. My bar now is ok, but I feel that I am having to "reach" for it a bit too much.

With this "extra pull back", wondering how the bar feels, more wheel barrow? Grips pointing down?

They just changed the name to Pico, look for people that have the Assault Bar its the same thing. When I ordered I chose the Malo because I was told by F47 that the Assault would hit the tank if you pulled them back very far, and I plan on pullng mine back to be inline with the forks.
