Taking these bent bars off a 13 CVO glide, putting stock on. Removed bars, and switch housing are still on top, while harness is stil in bottom. What's the right way to disconnect wiring to pull it out, and to re-install into stock bars?
I would say take the connectors apart at the bottom of the bars and pull the wire through from the switches your just doing everything backwards from doing a install.
Wiring comes out from the handgrip side. Two ways to get the bottom wiring through the bars. Cut the connectors off and re solder back together after you run it through the new bars, or disassemble the connectors and reassemble after reinstall.
Is it a 13 CVO? and if so are you Hell Bent on Stock Bars..? I have the Stock CVO bars off my bike if you want to replace them to stock. Just an option for you.
