And they fit with lowers Kinda pricey at $400 plus brackets and the wiring harness. But if you like your Daymakers, I think they'll look pretty damn good with them.
This is what mine looks like and I have $40 total in the whole system with relay and switch. I built the brackets myself. 6000k color, perfect match to Daymaker and 1000 lumens.
Smarty, I really like this set up and ordered the same lights. Could you share how you wired them. I was thinking to the plug under the seat, so I can use the acc. switch on the dash or maybe just the switched terminal so they are on all the time when riding? You mentioned a relay. I don't know enough about wiring to know that I need one. Can I just create a harness using a pigtail that plugs in under the seat or am I missing something here? Should I install an inline fuse somewhere? I can stumble through about anything, but electrical is not my cup-a-tea. Appreciate any advice you could lend.
Sam,
I'll get on this right away. I'd been using Picasa Albums for many years for my online photo stuff but its going away soon so I have to find something else.
Thanks so much Kenny. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
I'm creating a six-circuit, 12V buss just for auxiliary lighting. It will be a 50 Amp buss, with 6 individual fuses that will be armed only when the main headlight is on, so that it won't have lights on in ACC mode. I'll be taking good, detailed pictures to share with everyone on here.
Good pics, and good info. Only thing I discovered that I don't like about this setup is those long bolts are a PITA to reinstall, but you have to remove them to pull the fairing off.
BTW, in case I haven't mentioned it already, nice color choice.
Thanks Smarty , I am going to order some lights and get these parts and then some rainy day get them mounted. Hmmm since my bike is a 12 it does not have the Can buss so I am guessing my wiring would be different even more simple??????

Edit: It only draws right at 2 amps. For those with pre Rushmore bikes without switches, you can do it the same way but you could tap the relay into the rear running lights wire. Hope all this helps.

After installing and riding with the HD Day Maker fog lights on my fairing I personally feel that they are a waste of money. The stock high beam light illuminate more than they do and the individual light tends to fog up periodically.. It gives the RG a different look appearance wise but If I didn't have to drill a hole in my fairing to install them I would bring them back for a refund. JMO.
Ok fellas,
I read a whole bunch of posts and I still don't know for sure if these daymaker fog lights are totally plug and play on my 2016 RGU.
I have lights, fairing mount and switch kit. What else might I need before I get things taken apart?

Drilling a hole into each side of the fairing is required and plugging wires into the harness disconnectors. I brought another wire harness from HD to connect the light connectors to the accessory switch.
These look just like Kuryakyn 5019 with the LED upgrade kit,5035.I used the kury turnsignal/driving light combo on my `12,I know those don't fit the 15 and up.
