Like the Kuryakyns, these lights don't put out a lot of usable light. They don't light up the road, but they are certainly bright and they increase my visual profile. As a safety measure, this is probably the best I've done. It took me less than two hours, , not counting the drying time for primer and paint, and my safety factor has increased exponentially. Total spent not counting tools: $42.95 plus shipping, as I already had aluminum strap stock, soldering stuff and heat shrink.
