Update: I see now (5/7/17) they are down to $147 at the eBay link below. Wow...and they have a "make an offer" so it's actually even cheaper than that. Dollar for Dollar one of the best upgrades you can do!

Update 2 (9/8/19) here they are on Amazon at $130 ish

OK, so I've read multiple references about the chinese daymakers and how some are actually decent units. Looking on eBay they mostly are all the same product....most of them utilize some of the same product pictures which tell me they are mostly coming from one of if not the same manufacturer.

So with this in mind....I found one of the cheaper units on eBay and did some research....I found that even though they were asking like $225 ish, (and have sold 38 sets for road glides so far, with only positive reviews) they had a "Make an offer" button. And while perusing there reviews I round one guy who had gotten them for $190.00.

So being the cheap bastard I am I put in a offer for $190. It had two days before it expired which would have been about two hours from now. I just checked on eBay and while they had not responded to my buy it now.....they DID send me a new listing with a "sale" price.

$183.59 (Edit: The price has gone down since this was written.....offer them like $150 or $160 and see what they say!)

Yep, cheaper than I'd asked for and almost $40 cheaper than the next cheapest listing....so yeah, I bought it. It says they have 9 sets left....and there ARE people selling these exact same units for over $300.

I'm gonna update this thread once I get them on and I'll review them then, but in the meanwhile if anyone is interested....for as long as it lasts...here is the link.

This is THE cheapest price I've ever seen for these.

1set Dual LED Headlight Assembly for Harley Davidson Road Glide Hi Lo Beam 90W | eBay

Edit: I'm now seeing them for as cheap as $140 (link below) by all apparences these are the same units..... They've sold over 50 with no complaints

Offer up a cheaper price and let me know what you get them for and I'll update this thread!

Edit: there are several "install tips" throughout the thread....I wrote one of them on post 52.

here are some pics

Yeah, I was worried about that as well with the custom bezel that I have. It took some maneuvering but was able to make it work! Just a word of advise on the install of the lights: mount the bracket and then the fairing into the bike. Then snap the new headlights into the fairing. I first tried with the lights in the fairing first and tried mounting the fairing on the hooks and was a big pain in the a$$. Having the lights out first helps getting the fairing on the hooks!

So how is the quality of lighting as compared to the halogens? High/low beam? Are they actually 5 1/4 round lights or are they slightly oval? Mine is a '80 Tour Glide which I'm not certain as to how differently the newer bikes headlight mounts are. When I upgraded from the original incandescents to automotive (Sylvania) halogens they fit fine. Obviously (or maybe not) they are sealed beam units. Thanks in advance.

Instructions are for girls anyhow. :)
the lights look good. Keep us informed how they work at night and longevity.

If this instal goes well, and your happy with the improvement I am going to pull the trigger.
One question, Why did you choose this particular brand, price, bulb numbers?

Passed the info off to one of my brothers. The HD Multiple LED Daymakers came on my '13 when I bought it. A huge difference between them and stock lights. A huge difference in the price for something looks like it was manufactured in the same factory. In this economy and with the pockets drawn a little tighter if replacing I would be more inclined to buy the chicom version over the HD branded if needing to replace.

The videos on you tube were helpful, here's a hint. The adjuster rods are the same length as the factory ones....but the ones on the chi coms (at least on mine) were round on the end....how the hell do you adjust those????

So I replaced them with the ones off my factory light. Also I'd recomend a "dry run". I had my fairing all buttoned up and then couldn't get the bezel on cause the bottom was adjusted too far out (I measured and matched the factory lights)

So after pulling it ALL apart again...I put the lights in and bezel on while it sat on the kitchen table so I could adjust until the bezel fit.....THEN I pulled them out and installed the fairing WITH OUT the lights in on the bike and THEN put the lights in and then the bezel.

Other than that they are pretty fantastic, I'm gonna go out in another hour or so once it's darker and play with the adjustment....but suffice it to say, I'm impressed.

Man, you guys are going to make me spend more money, haha. I put the 2010+ fairing brackets on my bike for lowers and now I can't adjust my factory lights as high as I would like them to be before they hit the bezel. These LED's look awesome and by your pictures would definitely improve night riding. I will stayed tuned for further reviews until I feel ok about spending more money.

Right on, looking at the eBay ad it looks like the price has gone up like $10...before you buy them email them or use the "make an offer" feature and put in a lower price like I listed in this thread originally....I would hope he'd reduce it again!

I recently bought and installed a set as well from Ebay. I should find out in the next few days how well they work while riding on the road as I will finally have the bike all back together after the winter mods I have done. So far after the install, I am quite impressed with the fit and finish and the look of the beam. Install wasn't bad at all and I just followed the daymaker installation instructions pretty much, which seemed to work out ok.
