Magic strobe and Ciro bag blades.

There is an issue when using your turn signals.

In the first video I went through all 10 settings so you can see how it works. It's an angle issue with the orange/amber look. 100% of all lights were red 100% of the time.

Video 2 is with the turn signals. And you'll see the issue. When the turn signal on one side is going. The controller is telling the other one to go amber also. So you get confused. One solution is to have it only flash once. Then go solid. Or put the magic strobe after the Ciro Controller eliminating the bag blades from the equation. Which is OK too. The other lights will be doing their thing with the magic strobe.

Also. Ciro could tell me how to stop.this from happening. I will email them a link to this. They are a member here.

Man that is confusing as hell when your turn your signal on. Looks great otherwise. Have you talked to CD by chance? I was having issues making my TP light flash when the turn signal was on. They figured it right out, I had one of the 2 little switches in the wrong position. Good luck getting it figured out.

That's a good idea. I bet they point it right back to the controller.

I wonder what the guys with the Electra glo lights and a MS look like with the turn signal on. This is worse because it goes amber. If it stayed red. Would that help? It has to be the same with the Electra glo saddle bag lights. Just no amber.

Also. There a dip switch to shut off turn signals. I'll try that and see what happens. That may be the ticket.

I'm getting the Bag Blades for sure when the budget allows. But this will help decide what else to add.

I wonder what happens with the Electra glo saddle bag lights. I mean. What's different beside the fact that these go amber for the turn signal. The Electra glo will still get confusing no?

And we know with a wire swap we can kill the amber. But I like the contrast. It makes it stand out.

I have not heard from Ciro. But I'll email the video links to CD to see what their thought is.

I still am happy with these. And am glad I got them. And if I have to remove them from the sequence by moving the Magic strobe down the line. I will. I'll still have the flashing brake lights and move noticeable amber signals.

So I put the Bag Blades, tribar fender light and plasma rods on my rg. Could not get the Blades or plasma rods to play nice with the controller from the tribar light. Ended up going harness to Blades, a magic strobe, plasma rods, finally tribar light. Blades don't flash but I can now set the tribar to a different patter then the plasma rods which is cool.

I spoke them at Ciro.

Bad news. It's a no go. Said we have to put the MS before the bladed. It's the brain of the controller. I can rewire it to all red. Will lose the sequencing on the turn signals. I don't think I want to do that. I could probably click the bag blades directly into the bike wiring and then it should work but again. Lose the amber sequential turn signals.

For those interested. They are making a red only set. So no amber. But it will be a sequential red light strobe.

So for now. I have the magic strobe on my bullets and tribar light. If I have a turn signal on. Only the tri bar light is controlled by the MS.

I'm a little disappointed. But over all. To me it's a win.
