CD Plasma Rods / Magic STrobe

After a near miss at a red light about an hour ago...adding more lights and strobe to the rear of my 16 RGS.
I have the LED Dynamic Rings and Tri-bar. Going to add the Dual Plasma rods with the MPR adapter and a Magic Strobe.
Have a question though...Is the Turn Signal Decoder still required ???

Glad your all good, even a near miss is too close! I have been looking into a similar set up and from what I see, you will need a turn signal decoder if you go with the red/amber plasma rods. CD has some top notch customer service, try calling and b.s.ing with them.

I'll give them a call tomorrow... Yeah it was to close for comfort. When I saw that she wasn't stopping fast enough, I shot over into the turning lane next to a car and let her blow the light. and almost T-bone a Deputy.

I've been eyeing up the rods for a while.
Not that way you sickos.

Then I saw those Cero bag lights, but apparently don't play well with the Magic strobe. So, plasma rods are back on the list.

I've got Plasma Rods set up as R/B/T. Love them. OEM lighting on the Specials is flat out scary.

Just so everyone knows...Yes you do need the Turn Signal Decoder. Got a reply back from CD.
Placed an order for it all this morning.

Got em in yesterday... Put em on later that evening. Went for a test rise and my Bro n law happened to get behind me
He said they were bright as hell and the flashing when I hit the brake got his attention too.

Fancy blinking lights are pretty, but they're no substitute for paying attention ... Good thing you were!

Scarlet Red 2010 Road Glide Custom named Trixie - She's a flashy little minx..
Basic black 1981 Tour Glide Classic named Alice - She's a sleeper project.
