cycle-rama 575 or woods tw-777

Which would be a better performance fit for a 96" motor? With a stage 1, 2-1 exhaust. And can't seem to find a price on the cr575

CR575 works very well in 96" bike.
Standard base circle on this cam, so you can re-used the stock pushrods and lifters. Saves you a few $$$
Don't know if anyone has installed the new Woods 777 cam.
Give Wes a call at Cycle-Rama he is a great guy and will give you a lot of useful information.

Hey CVO110,
I got a quote from WES, and he sent me one saying that i need new pushrods because of the base circle being smaller than stock, and also for lifters as well???? Is that maybe a canned response, and I WON'T need all of that stuff???? He also sent me a dyno chart that is exciting!!!! up 16 Ft/lbs. and 10 HP That is H U G E.... It all will cost about a grand, but I'm thinking it's worth it. It will be cheaper though if you are correct, and i can use my pushrods and lifters.... If you have actually done this in a 96" let me know, and i'll just order the cams....

if the base circles are indeed smaller which I have read they are then you need adjustable pushrods. seems like being Wes designed the cams I would take his advice lol.

TDC .156 Intake .109 Exhaust
Base circle dimension of this cam-.020 or .630 Radius.
Stock being .650 Radius.
Your stock pushrods will be fine.

I'm confused... the .020" difference is cool??? This cam would bolt in???

Yes Bolt in.
The base circle is 0.020 smaller than stock, then the mathematical preload
would be .090. Only one half of the base circle diffference. In which case, the stock PRs would work.
