2912 roadglide. SE 255 cams, stock primary components. heres what I noticed. when im cruising highway speeds in 6th gear and I let off throttle I get a clunk in the driveline somewhere. its very noticeable. same when you accelerate. I have noticed it also in lower gears when riding around town. I just finished a 7000kms 8 day trip. lots of traffic driving and freeway entereing. noticed it then when accelerating and decel. where can I start looking for worn or broken parts. im not at all comforatable with our local dealer here in Canada so ill be looking myself. warranty don't mean much if the dealer will never agree theres a problem. thanx
Great description I have messages on another thread , my roadglide special does exactly what you describe, been in Harley shop for couple weeks they keep saying it's normal , I keep getting someone else to check it out, latest is assistant service manager.
One of the weeks it rained the whole time, so waiting to hear latest results. Its a 2015 with only 7,000 miles on it

THe manual shows how to check for play... Put on a jack, put in gear, move tire one way till slack is out, mark wheel, turn other way, mark wheel, take measurement and check manual for their spec...
