Much like some others on here I pulled the trigger on a Drago's 124" touring motor in September. Got it installed this past weekend and got it fired up late on Sunday. The motor itself is very quiet and smooth although the Dragula exhaust with 3" baffle make it sound like a beast.

Frank was great to deal with. I asked him to send me the rocker covers, cam cover, and lifter covers so I could powder coat them myself before he actually built the motor. This worked out real well and I'm thrilled with the results. I played around with a stock football air cover too cutting a design in it to allow some extra cold air flow to the filter element.

I managed to only get 35-miles on it so far, but hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend and I can log a lot more.

I knew I would catch some hell for that, but they wouldn't take it as checked baggage on my business trip to Missouri.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I will be logging a lot of miles this weekend.

I've been riding my stock 88" for the last two summers and have been somewhat content with it. I can only imagine how that 124" feels. It looks great too! Love that orange.

Looks great good luck with it all. I had an 07 in that color. A ride I truly enjoyed . I hope to have another in that color someday.
Just never going to do a repaint job again.

Congrats on the new power plant. That 3" baffle does make it sound nasty for sure. Ed tried tuning mine with it but we ended up having to go back to the 2.55" when it was all said and done. If I had gone with a bigger TB then the 3" would have worked. I'm gonna ride mine as is til the warranty is out and then I'll probably change things up a bit. Whatever I do next, the bigger baffle goes back in. It just sounds too good. LOL

What size throttle body did you go with? Mine is the 66mm. I put 200+ miles on today and the sound started to get annoying. Could be due to the modular helmet I was wearing though. Noise seems to intensify when I wear it. Gonna try my half helmet tomorrow and see if it's better. Otherwise I might need to sacrifice some performance for my sanity.

I already had the 58mm throttle hogg so I kept it and used Frank's 5.8 injectors. I was thinking about getting the 66 but didn't know if I would gain enough over the 58 to warrant the expense.

Hullhorr,

Have you tried "Gill" at American Cycle Performance in Glen Burnie MD? His shop number is 410-787-7300.

I have not used him myself, but the rumor is he installs and tunes with Thundermax.

Hope this helps,

Hawkman
