And hopefully reliable as well. Should be doable with a solid cam, the right map, and full exhaust system. I had a 103 at 108hp and 118tq, but did have some headwork done.

Is that 1500.00 all in, parts, labor and tax?

We have some great engine builder sponsors of this site, give them a shout or reach out to them by email for the best advice, after all they do it all day long.

Intake, Good 2 in 1 exhaust (D&D Fat Cat or Dragos Dragula), Cam and tune should put you right about there! You can prob pick up the intake or exhaust slightly used online in some sort of forum.....

Just to clarify, I'm looking for specific parts. Labor is no factor. Which cam, intake, exhaust, tuner combo did you use to achieve this goal? How close did you come? I realize there are builders that are great sponsors of this site, but I'd like to hear form the actual riders themselves, to see how satisfied they are with their builds and again which specific components they used to achieve their numbers. Thanks for participating.

Me thinks it would be difficult for $1500 , spend that on exhaust and a cam ..

I say do a Solid Stage 1 (Intake, 2:1 and ECU) and use the money on a Dyno - $1500 will be tough IMHO as I know it:

Good 2:1 = $850 at least (used)
Intake = $200
ECU = $150-$300
Cams = $250'ish

This is your $1500 if you score eBay and piece it together with the best of luck - Now, proper install and tuning is a whole other beast

Might I ask why 100/115 is the Goal? - Do you just want red light to red light power or hwy passing power?

I think a Good Stage 1 (properly dyno tuned) and some good rear shocks would out perform a missing 15 hp or so of that 100 mark.........but that is just me

the numbers are kinda arbitrary but around what I want in terms of power and speed. I'm tired of getting smoked by bros with stage 2's and way more cash than I have access to. I'm no hot rod but do a lot of highway riding back and forth to work, (in Michigan that equates to 75-80 MPH) and don't like being in proximity to idiots on the road, so having the power to pull away at speed is important as well. Dragos "diablos 1.5" looks promising for the coin, but we'll see...

Dragos has some really decent deals......ESPECIALLY if you can take it to him for the labor.
