Ditto! I was about ready to send my second Windvest back but after my service guy gave me a set of baffles I was set. 12,000 miles later I'm in heaven.

The road has always been a place to look for answers or forget about the questions.

I thought about trying the Sanchos Wings but I don't seem to be getting much air coming from the sides that cause the buffeting so I don't want to add them if they aren't going to do much.

Keep us posted!
There are tons of threads about them already. This one gives a LOT of member's feedback on how they worked:

Sancho's wings YES/NO???

I was told by a friend, who is a Harley trained mechanic, to stay away from that chrome baffle. He said it removes too much air flow to the engine which was told to him by a corporate guy that "knows his shit". Based on the improvement I feel so far, i think, that once Sanchos go on the wind issues will be gone.

I have changed the windshield out to a Klockworks 12" and have removed the Sanchos Wings. I was not happy with the fit of the Sanchos Wing on the left side of the bike. The 3M tape was only making contact with a section of the inner fairing of about 1/8". After riding around with them on for three days and one bike wash the left side fell off. I'm going to try some new tape and re-apply. The wind buffeting did not go away with the wings installed but they definitely reduced the wind on the top of my legs. Once they are re-installed I will be able to give a better, more comprehensive review of the product.
The wind shield made a huge difference to my buffeting issue....

Did it and completely agree. The Harley wind deflectors that snap on to the crash bar made a HUGE difference in the quality of ride department. Its shocking to me that they are not a part of every RG from the factory.

They make the bulk of their profit from accessories

At least they give them to you when you pony up the extra $ for an Ultra!

They didn't give me mine when I bought my '11. They were one of the first things I did buy though, and I like them a lot.

Kind of a gross story, but one that showed me how well these work. I once coughed up a loogie that shot straight out of my mouth and that thing went towards the shield and then did a skyward 90* just before impact. Just launched straight to the clouds, was kinda cool.

'03 Deuce: 88k miles and counting, '11 RGU: 75k miles and counting.
