Doing some work to my 2015 RGS. Thinking about having the cams changes out. Anyone have any recommendations. looking for a little better performance. Mainly ride 2 up.
Several to choose from. Andrews 48 or 57, Kuryakyn tc24d, T-Man torqster 555, Wood 222. You'll probably get more responses if you post this in the engine section of the forum.
I just replaced the cams in my 15 RG with woods 777's. They are a mid to upper rpm cam so not the best for 2 up touring. I had woods 222's in my 08 SG and they were a very impressive 2up touring cam. The Andrews 57H seems to be a very popular touring bike cam that I would recommend looking into. You are going to get a lot of different opinions on this subject so be ready. Enjoy!
I can post you a dyno sheet of my bike with a 57 cam but I recently swapped out to Woods 777's and there awesome as well so if money is tight then the 57's, if not then woods 777's is a great choice as well but either choice will need a proper exhaust combo !
