road glide/electra glide fairing lowers

Anyone know the difference between the electra glide type of lowers

compared to the road glide? any time I see a set for sale, it will

say it won't fit fltr - the new bikes at my local H-D shop sitting a road glide

next to a electra glide, the lowers look like the same shape/bend ! I can't

find what the difference is !! THANKS - cool site - great info !!

The new RoadGlides 2010 and up have new fairing brackets which raises the rear of the fairing up. This mod lets the 2010s and up Roadglides use the same vented fairings as the Electraglides.

On the 2009 and back Roadglides, the fairings did not give enough clearance for the vented Electreglide lowers But the MOCO made Roadglide lowers which were not as tall as the EGs lowers for those models 09 and prior.

10 FLTRX , Stage 1, 13" Madstad, Mono tubes, Heritage style bars
If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.
