amazing , dealer confirmed this should be pinned, although, you can still ride, not life threatening, and its not effecting all bikes , it has to do with wether or not all the clamps were crimped or not , definitely worth looking at
I'm going to check, but I bet mine is included, after riding all day if my bike sits for more than 2 days I've noticed a little residual oil, like a drop.
I'll call my dealer tomorrow. I have a trip planned for next week. I was going to leave Wednesday morning. I looked and don't see any evidence of oil leaks around the rocker boxes. The bike, RGS was built in March so I imagine it's included. A leak from there could definitely get on the rear tire. Not a good thing going over the passes in the Rockies.
I brought my RGS in today without an appointment. They took it no problem because it's a "10 minute job." I had no issues as far as the recall lines were concerned but they discovered a different oil line leaking. The guy said leakage under the oil cooler has been a common issue on M8s. Service guy said he thinks it should have been included in the original recall and believes it might be a future recall. Obviously, it is under warranty but none of the oil makes it to the ground because it stays in the cooler. I wouldn't have ever noticed it if it weren't for the recall. FYI
Took mine in this morning. No appointment. In and out in about ten minutes.
