I certainly did! With the help of PCpain the price was right and no labor cost, it was money well spent.

Easiest way to get the fairing back on is to remove the bezel and headlights from the outer fairing. You can then look right through and see where the fairing hooks on and reconnect everything from the outside when you are done.

Excellent write up. I've done a few of these DIY threads myself and I know how useful they can be.

Yes. I can hear the music at highway speed with the Boom speakers. Better fidelity, too. For the money, I think they are a good upgrade. I will upgrade to an amp and better/more speakers at a later date: exhaust and a/c upgrades are a higher priority this winter.

Just ordered the upgraded front, rear speakers, bass booster ports and the amp from PCPain. My 2010 had the upgraded speakers without the amp or bass booster ports and was fine. Figured this time I'd add the amp and ports as well. Good write-up

good write up, mine fairing has been apart so many times it not even funny

1 thing I can say, is that the Boom Grills are by far a really good fit and look 100% better than anything cloth or plastic
