Ok, it'll be a little less than $6.

(Excuse the dirty bike.)

Works well, and is definitely cheap.

Based on this thread

Based on this thread I made a youtube video showing how to do it on a late model Harley touring bike. I did it on my wife Street Glide and my Road Glide. The alarm I got was 12 dollars because Radio Shack didn't have the 6 dollar one. But it is 108 decibels and is great. I will attach the link if anyone wants to view it. Thanks for the great advice.

I did this on a 2009 Harley Dyna.
All parts are on Ebay.
12VDC Piezo Siren #273-0079 By RadioShack $10.99
Mating Connector for Speedometer Sensor and Siren Namz NMD-410016 $6.79
The connector fits all Harley siren plug-in on Harley motorcycles and is water tight.

Plug on 05 Road Glide, I found It :)

Radio Shack Piezo Siren Part # 273-079 $5.79
They keep them in the cabinet with the pull out drawers.

The wires in the connector on the bike are Brown/Green/Black.

The red wire from the siren goes to brown and the black wire from siren goes to green.

A small piece of industrial velcro holds it in place.

Make sure to remove the ECM MOUNTING plate with the ECM still attached. (3) 1/2" nuts if I remember right. The connector you need is attached to the back of the plate.

Just installed the Radio Shack Piezo on my 15 RG Works great. Took about 15 min. Used Radio Shack pins on the piezo, with heat shrink tubing , Plugged in the factory plug. Used a larger heat shrink tube over pins and plug. 3m 2 sided foam tape on the back of speaker, Tucked away behind wiring.

Did the RS siren mod to my '15 RGS. Works mint. So simple, red to red & black to white/green.
Tried to upload a pic, didn't load.

On my recommendation, after I did my 16 ultra, my buddy just installed on his 12. The alarm chirps the warning, and will go off off if he stands the bike up, but the fob will not shut off the alarm. He has to wait for it to time out, and then the ignition will recognize the fob just fine. Any ideas? I feel bad cuz I told him to do it and now it's all jacked.

If the wires were reversed I wouldn't think it would work at all. It works fine, just won't shut off. And the bike recognizes the fob after cuz it'll start. I told him to use his other fob too, but he can't find it. Oh well, worse comes to worse and we just pull the siren back out.

I followed the directions posted on this thread. Wanted the plug, for a clean install.

Ordered from the site suggested earlier. Have since found that Amazon also has them:

Namz Mating Connector for Speedometer Sensor and Siren NMD-410016

by Namz Custom Cycle $7.26

More Buying Choices $7.06 new(5 offers)

{I just ordered 4 more of these for friends }

Amazon also has a Peizo 12vdc siren, that seems similar to Radio Shack.

Using the plug requires assembly. While not complex, I had not done it before, and did not find instructions posted.

Just in case, have your instructions for re-setting the PIN on your MC, and the PIN handy. Although, I didn't need either.

Pull the 50 amp fuse.

Matching the siren wire colors to your MC's varies by year/model. In my case, 2015 RGS, Red to Red, Black to Green/White.

Dry fit the plug to the female side. Mark where the colors go. Look and see orientation how pins slide into the female side.

Run the wires thru the water seal, then thru the plug. Attach the pins by crimping covered wire in first set of crimps, stripped wire in second set. Leave the "square" set alone.

If you look inside the male plug, you will note the crimp pins will only fit in one way, and still slide into the female side. Crimp wires, then slide pins in. Push a bit with edge of screw driver, or needle nose, to seat them.

Silicon sealing, or Dielectric grease are choices. As a jet ski owner, I usually do both on any wiring. But, did not in this case.

Thank you to all that posted earlier in this thread, as well as those that post after !!

These connectors only assemble one way. Slide the wire they the connector , then crimp the pin on the wire and pull it back into the connector, or put the pins on the wire and slide the wire in from the plug in side. They do not work like the normal pins like on the wiring harness , etc
