Agreed. But the Mako Shark nickname does refer to something about the body style that started in 1969, so I do see the connection.

Just don't think most folks will.

I see it. I just don't get why they try to connect car themes to bikes. That work is good enough to stand on it's own without trying to borrow a car's heritage.

Agreed 100%. Understanding it doesn't mean I approve. That is one amazing bike that doesn't need the Vette deal to make it a sweet ride.
