Beautiful sunny day here win west central PA, 50*, and my local dealer is celebrating their 70th anniversary, so I rode over to check out their sale and got some free grub.

I tried on a Magnum tripple vent jacket, and this is probably the best fitting leather I have ever put on. The only problem is the price, even with 20% off it was still close to $400.

Just wondering who makes this for them, I realley don't need to have the HD logo's, but I do want the jacket (for fit and finish)

What PGR said. A picture is worth a thousand words. Just check the Made in tag on the inside of the jacket. This is why North America has an economy problem.

Looks like they're out of business according to your link.
Anybody try topharley.Com ? The prices look awesome, but cash only.

The HD dealer in La Vale MD just 65 miles from you had all their leathers on sale at 40% off this last week. Stopped there on the way to visit family and snagged a new jacket for the better half. Might be worth a call to see if they have the jacket your looking for.

i don't think you can blame hd for that one. maybe you got a hold of a counterfeit jacket on that one. every hd jacket that i have ever bought has had quality zippers.

I got tired of trying to find a jacket that would fit my skinny, lanky self about 10 years ago. I had Vanson custom make a Highwayman cut to 31 measurments. Back when they were still entirely handmade in Boston, MA. Barely have it broken in at this point, but fits like a second skin. Cost a princely sum when I bought it, but was a good investment IMO.

I'm not sure what the problem with HD jacket prices are.
Don't pay 100% MSRP of course.
But even at "open house 20% off" prices, I got this for a hair over $300 and I'd say its worth it.
I can't find a single fault of this jacket. Nice and heavy, warm when it needs to be, vented when it doesn't, blah blah.. its a freaking great jacket.
*shrug*

I found a brand new Harley Nevada Jacket on eBay a few years ago and got a great price on it from a Harley Dealer, don't remember which one.
I think it cost me about $250.00.
It's a heavy jacket and feels great and keeps me warm on cooler days and was definitely worth the price.
Best of Luck!
