Any must haves to add-on when buying a 2015 Road Glide Special? I might be making a deal tomorrow.

+1 ! Put some miles on that scoot before you change anything. While the general inclination with new owners is to go right out and get an aftermarket pipe, slip-ons, and misc bling. Instead, concentrate on riding it and making note of those items that just don't fit you well, or places where you hurt at the end of a tank full of gas. Make it comfortable first and everything else will fall in line as time and money permit. How's the seat? Handlebars? Grips? Floorboards - need longer? Windshield? There's enough things right there to keep you busy for quite a while because many of those things are very specific to body types, height, weight, etc. Unfortunately a lot of these things are trial and error. That's way the classified ad section here gets a lot of use. You get a good deal on a (typically) barely used item, and the seller doesn't take a complete 'bath' in the process.) Go slow and get it mostly right the first time .... it's a hell of a lot cheaper that way!

My build list

I bought a new 2015 RG Denim Black yesterday. These are probably not must haves for everyone. My list ...SE race tuner/Vance&Hines true dual head pipes/Rinehart slip-ons/Roland Sands air breather/Dyno. Additionally I got upgrade Stage II speakers and amp/Red Brembo calipers/Black uppers and lowers,and a docking kit. The tune and pipes were a must for me, the rest is just eye candy.

Exhaust and windshield. From there check and see how you feel about the speakers. Great posts on here about these that will get you spending your money fast. LOL. Hope the deal works out. Love my 2015 RGS.

I picked up LED turns, front and rear, LED bulbs for my headlight, a BrightAss Light, Highway legs and footboard extensions for my 13. Next on the list are shocks, front cartridges and comfortnprofile rear bad guards. At some point, I'll go with an exhaust system, leaning towards the V&H Monster Squares with a Jackpot X pile right now. Instant to listen to a bunch more before I pull out the card though.

I say seat before shield because you have to make your riding position and butt right first, and you dont know how high or low you will end up..ask me how I know..and how many shields are in my garage..lol..

I would start with a new seat and let everything else fall into place after a few miles. Besides, Christmas is right around the corner.

Ride it first! You will most likely find that the seat is not to your liking ( I had 4 different seats on my RG in less than 1000 miles).
You will definitely be trying different windshields as well. I tried four before I found the one that works for me.
Get comfortable first! It cost me almost a grand so far to fit me to my bike. Now I don't have much left for bling! lol
