Well the MOCO did not want us to know the new models for 2013 until the end of August! Well easyrider published the 2013 CVO's in the October issue that I recieved last week! Woops! Face out!

I love the new paint

I love the new paint. If the silver is anything like the 100th silver, I am down with it. This is what I know. A scanned picture from a magazine, posted on the web looses something in the translation.

I liked the 2012 CVO, but we bitched there were no speakers in the saddlebags, and wondered why the SESGs had them. My favorite 12 was the skunk, but saw way to many at Sturgis.

I like my paint, pictures don't do it justice, and I only saw one like it, and I was sitting on it. Pictures do no justice to paint, so I will hold my criticism until I see one in person. Cat whiskers or not, nice looking bike.

Exactly. I saw sooooo many CVO RG's at Sturgis it was just shocking. I saw one other bike like mine and it was on the freeway. When parked I had more people asking about my paint than even noticing CVO's.

It really appears that HD had dropped the ball large this year. They have not yet released (officially) anything about the 2013 model year bikes, yet dealerships are posting pics of 2013 bikes daily and of course ER with their article out for all the world to see. This is the first year ever that I can remember anything like this happening.....

Not really liking the 'Captain Zoom' graphics on the RG. Will stick with mine, and call H-D's shot on this year's models a 'Miss'.

It will be neat to see the new features and upgrades in person, but so far I am not impressed. Never really have been all that impressed with the CVO RGs. Its like they make them to try and pacify the shark tank, the color schemes and new features are always still a few years behind the ugly batwings who get everything. And for the money....thats alot of "personal" upgrades that can really make your standard RG stand out from a crowd and perform better.

Just my humble opinion.

As for as the CVO Roadglide, other than the Headlists and bag lid speakers, it's virtually the same bike as 2012. And that's not a bad thing because the 2012 CVO RG is an awesome bike. You can't tell what the paint really looks like from here, so I'll reserve judgement on that until I can see it in person.

Now, the CVO Road King is a really nice surprise. I owned a Road King Classic before my RGU and have always liked them. So, in my opinion this bike really knocks it outta the park. I really want to see one of these in person!!

The way Harley has done the CVO FLTRX the past 2 years, is almost identical to the Street Glide CVO starting in 2010. Remember how it was kinda plain,. then in 2011 they added the lowers with the speakers. Then for 2012 they added the saddlebag speakers. Each year, a lot of the previous year owners, would trade up because the new model had a little something extra. I kinda see how they are doing that with the Road Glide now,.. where the 2013 models have just a little more then the 2012 bikes, which would make some want to trade up again.
So my thoughts are that in 2014, we'll finally see the FLTRX CVO with lowers and speakers,.. and maybe even a razor pak like I think they should do as well.

If I could swing it,.. I would of bought a convertable CVO from last year (the denim one with the distressed brown seats) and an Anniversay Road King from 2013. Both those bikes are damn good looking and would be a lot of fun.

Could be that there are already people out there making them, and have been for a little while. If you do a search in the lighting subcatagory there are a handful of threads.
