Out with the 2010, in with the 2013
Posted last week that I had an unfortunate incident with a deer causing $11,700 in damage to the 2010 Roadglide Custom (black denim). The bike didn't even go down but obviously the damage was significant so although it was repairable I worked a deal with my local dealer.
So I'm now on a 2013 Roadglide Ultra. Worked on it today to get it ready to roll after taking over $2,000 in add-ons off the old bike. Good thing they haven't changed style since then.
Put on the 'madstad' 13 inch windshield, Mustang lowdown seat, 360 adjustable foot pegs, 'iron aces' iphone holder, 'Top Shelf' saddlebag and tourpak organizers and a few other parts. An added bonus, when I traded my '02 electraglide for the 2010, I removed the 'bright-ass light' taillight before I traded it in. I had it sitting in the closet for about 2 years, meaning to put it up for sale. Well, the new ultra has the same taillight so I was able to use it.
