Hello, I have been talking to Big Bear Choppers about their new exhaust for touring bikes. It's a stepped header in stainless, works with stock floorboards or mids. I know it's not for everyone but I am really liking the looks of it. Plus I think it would look great with my denim black paint. Price is 750.00.
I like the concept of it, but I don't know if I care for where the muffler ends, directly under the bag. That might create a heat issue for the saddlebag. It could just be the pic, or the pipe causing an illusion, but it looks like that right saddlebag is raised up a bit.
Before Supertrapp had a long pipe for baggers I had the short one on a stripped down bagger (streetglide way before they came out:wink looked good but gassed me out every traffic signal.
Now those forks in the above pic, have my intense interest.
I wouldn't give them a penny! They burned alot of people. Yeah, yeah there's a new owner now blah. blah, blah - Kevin is still there and it was his fault.
In my opinion you should take a look at Dragula. I was running the 2.5" baffle before I blew my 103 - now I'm running the 3" baffle with my 124 and couldn't be happier. I've had 5 friends buy the Dragula since seeing and hearing mine.
Indeed, the recession hit them hard but BBC was lucky. Another Aussie entrepreneur put them back in business albeit a little different than before. :surprise:
Here's the new Big Bear Choppers: Big Bear Choppers
Thanks for all the good observations and suggestions. I contacted Patrick at Royal T Racing about their pipe. It's supposed to make really good power and great quality.
