Nope! No catches that I could see. No stipulations either. They have a couple of each for sale and that's the price. The SG was green. Another SG was red. The RGS was blue. One of the CVO ultras was a silver looking color. I was amazed when I walked in.
No. I don't think so. And not all of their bikes were priced this way. Just a couple of each model. I assume once they sell those, the rest will be regularly priced. But it wasn't a "door buster" or gimmick deal or anything that was only good from 9-10 am. I was there around noon and they had about 8 bikes priced this way still.
I live near you I suspect. In town to visit and stopped by. Asked all the questions the posters are asking on here and it wasn't a gimmick. They are selling these bikes for these prices! I was amazed! Especially the CVO Ultra! That's the lowest price for a new CVO I've ever seen!
Don't get too upset with your dealership if they are selling bikes at the prices they ask. Like Texasbub said things are probably real slow in Baton Rouge and they are desperate to get things moving.
Of course if it makes you feel better to go smack someone there, don't let me stop you. It's more important to feel better. > Maybe smack the customers as they walk out the door that are paying full or above MSRP driving the prices up.
I went back today to ask questions and take pictures. No gimmicks. Can't upload the pictures for some reason, but it's a Memorial Day Sale. 20 or so total bikes at these prices. From the $31,500 CVO RGU to a $4,999 Street 500. Only about 8 left.
If I didn't already own my 16 FLTRXS, I would have been flying down to pick up a new Road Glide CVO Ultra. That price is crazy good and likely not to be found anywhere else.
Just selling it for 19k would be almost a total profit loss not to mention they are paying your sale taxes too? So a potential discount of 7k on a brand new 16 RGS? You couldn't get that kind of deal with 3 feet of snow on the road in Ohio or ever for that matter. Harley's sell so fast around here dealers have trouble keeping stock. In March the local dealer had 30 2016 Street Glides of various models and 2 RGS and 2 RGU. I bought my barely used 15 in March OTD for $20,136 which was an awesome price. Not having to pay taxes saved me a little under 2 grand. The dealer bought that cost. Generally speaking there is no incentive to discount new bikes at all here. Why? People are willing to pay the premium for buying new. I live in Harley country. I didn't trade my old bike because i wouldn't of got such a great deal if i did.
Those are smoking deals there. I bought my 15 for $19k and some change. Not a RGS. The dealer waived all the set up fees etc. Loess Hills HD in Pacific Junction, Iowa. That was in March of 2015.

Nice ... I'm surprised that '16 RGU CVO lasted longer than an hour at that price.
