Took the Roadster out today for a solo run to REALLY put it through its paces and see if it is Hype or Heap - Well, happy to report, I took it to my local twisties (Industrial park at 7a on a Holiday....always fun) and a few country road switchbacks and this thing is SOLID at speed and leaned over - I also came to the conclusion that this bike is not for all and trying to make it something it is not goes against the nature of the bike - It is meant to be ridden hard, flung around in a low stance - "Cruising" and having as only bike would have to be for smaller and younger riders - Bar Height, Peg Placement....I now get it - I have had to re-think pulling feet off the pegs at a stop as straight out from the peg is no Bueno....up and back as you lift off is the way - Odd but the pegs really are in a spot for a 5'10 and under person to be perfect when swapping toe drag
It goes in tomorrow for the S1 crap and Dyno and am happy to say that it can only get better - The lil 1200 like to run and damn the Susp and Brakes are fanfuggintastic.................for a Harley
Dropped off the Chicka scoot today to get these added and have the Dyno Guy drop in the SE Pro Tuner and go to work - Should sound like the 1:09 mark of the below Vid too - Very excited
Next up is the 1000 mile service on the RG - Chase Manhattan LOVES me
Dropped off the RG for the 1K Service and rode the chick bike home.........side saddle of course....like a good bitch does - They got the S1 done and Dyno'ed for me in a day - She sounds like a typical piped out 1200......which I am fine with - Went on the Dyno with only 150 miles on it so it is breaking in nicely - The sheet is in the Bag of the RG but it was clean - 74 HP and 75 fpt with no real dips at all - Some minor at the very end of 3rd and 4th but I am good with those #s for a 2nd bike to fuck around on - Happy with the look of the pipes and intake too
I have a buddy in CenCal who has been riding for about 50 years and has owned many different HD models. He still likes the Sporties the best. Of course he's size appropriate for the Sportster ... he's have to be constipated for a week to hit 160 on the scales.
I do like the silver and black paint scheme on your bike, just glad the Mother Ship didn't offer a pink paint scheme this year!
No amount of money could have kept me from that scheme as I already have the matching lid, gloves, boots, Chaps (Yes, with the fringe) and Jacket........
SteadyEddie be rolling back, shaking a leg, hitting the kill
All admire his moto sickle
one ball drops as he sits it on the stand, stepping off the other on the ground lands
They look upon him in thrill, then blush as he throws his tongue out as to tickle.
Now he looks out and saids "ya'll spreadin for me"
they all say "no" as they strain to see, his little wee wee
all balls and no bone, you can go home, but your tongue will never be alone
Oh yea, I can remember my first 100 miles on a Bagger...
Close to 20 years ago today, finally had bike that she was happy to be on the back of, we rode down to a house/field party firepit. A couple café styles there already and plenty to toast & roast. After she fumbled to get off I dismounted. That's when IT all started.. One of the bigger locals said " look like you slung your Balls to get off, then to "walking like he's carrying his Balls in a sling to watch out 'don't trip over your Balls to 'back away from the keg fools or my friend will empty his Balls on you', hep that's when I started, thanks to the Bagger. Don't recall as much as now always mention my Balls. She saids " it always about your Balls' so, ya know if your gonna to something' ya might as well get comfortable, make adjustments timely and not be afraid to speak to those that envy my Balls, I really don't talk about my Balls that much, others seem to like me and my Balls and never noticed tripping on my Balls, lots like to see me adjust my Balls before and after, they are my Balls anyways, sometime I do have to ask her to return my Balls
Hea, Eddie... one time back in the mid-eighties a Mr Policeman stoped me on the way to work one morning in the South (sure it was one a few I was fired from for being a Rider) and asked me ' your know how fast your were going?....I lent forward and tapped and taped on the tact (which wasn't even hooked up on the 1000), he said ' you running off the tact? said 'yep sir .. told me to calibrate it or fix it., n let me go0
Dear reds, I know your pain......for it is my belief,
Some balls are held for charity
And some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure,
They're the balls that I like best.
And my balls are always bouncing,
To the left and to the right.
It's my belief that my big balls should be held every night
I had a similar Tach Experience with my old FXDX that had no gauges at all - Johnny Law pulled me over as he was very concerned for my well being, asked me the same silly question (why do you LEOs do that?) and I pointed to the Headlamp Bracket (that looked like the attached and the whole at the Top had a black plate behind it) and tapped it and said....."Dash Went out over that last bump....Harley's, what junk" - He agreed, gave me the "I use to ride myself you know" and proceeded to talk to me about every inch of the bike - Wasted about 25 mins but I was going to describe every inch of that shitbox if it meant no ticket...........which in the end, just a warning - Still makes me chuckle
Many times my Balls get a reach up, nice to have support when
clutchin my Balls often seek support, my Balls are good swimmers too
They get ' float tested 'often , came home late last night and she gave my Balls a bath..... good thing my Balls didn't float
He gave us so many to chose from, I think I must have 10 favorites ...
“Some people will tell you that slow is good – but I’m here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba…”
or
Simple but profound: “Buy the ticket, take the ride.”
Another favorite has always been:
“Faster, Faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.”
― Hunter S. Thompson
