Winter is almost here and the riding season has all but ended.:crying: What modifications have you planned to carry out on your Roadglide this winter? I have planned on adding V&H pro dual headers , a stage 1 breather and possibly heated grips. I'll also spend some time detailing my ride and maybe dig out the owners manual to go over it again.

Not much. I am happy with the way the M8 runs. I do want to finish smoking the lights and that is left is the tour pak. The RGU is safe in the bike room now we got 4 inches of snow . Will put the FB in this week once I pull the side car. No work on FB this winter.
Bike room needs some serious cleaning up.

I'd like to add speaker lids, and try wrinkle blacking as much chrome as possible. Half the bike was already wrinkle black, so might as well finish the rest instead of starting over.

Whatever strikes my fancy I guess. The reason I say that is I don't plan on doing much to the bike b/c I've spent enough money over the years buying stuff for the HD I owned at the time yet I've managed to drop about $1,110 in stuff on the bike as it is so...

Down in Florida we don't really have a "winter" season but, there are a few weeks where its just not fun to ride in 40-50 degree weather. With that said, I plan on tearing into the engine and doing 107 kit, my cams again and change all of the engine covers (cam cover, rocker boxes, push-rod tubes, etc.) to gloss black. Might install the BDL compensator too. Just did one on my Pops bike and it goes into first gear like butter and no more start clunk.
