Progressive 944?

Good morning all, I have a 2002 Road Glide Ultra (Frankenstein). Wanting to change the shocks, but don't want something when I have to rebuild all the time. Was thinking about the Progressive 944 shocks. Ride mainly solo but she comes with around town at times. I'm 6'4" and 270lbs. She's 130lbs soaking wet. Suggestions?
Thanks for all the inputs, realize this will bring lots if different opinions.

All shocks will wear out, so as far as shocks go ,buying from a company that rebuilds their products is a good thing.
I chose SuperShox for the good reviews, and simplicity and fair price. They also didn't change the height of the seat. Ohlins is also a good choice.

2010 FLTRX , Stage 1, 13" Madstad, Mono tubes, SuperShox, Heritage style bars. Alpine CDE-HD149BT,Soundstream Picasso Nano Series PN4.520 , 5X7 and 6.5 Infinity Kappa speakers
If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

A set of HD-772 Ohlin's would fix you right up. A little more money but damn well worth it.

Edit: Good talking to you yesterday. Anymore questions, don't hesitate to call.

Supershox, Ohlins....good advice.

Have you don't the Progressive suspension Monotubes in the front yet? I did them and went with the PS 970's in the back and the difference was AMAZING. Night and day. Ohlins would have undoubtedly been a little better I'm sure...but I am more than satisfied with the return I got on my investment. Like riding a different bike now.

Oh, and I'm 6'3" and 300. Also, make sure you compare prices at cycleplicity.com....that's where I found the best price when I got mine.
