Back from our trip to Nashville and the smokies, it was a fantastic experience. We took two days down and two days back. Day 2 was done in all rain, got a bit water looked, and my damn frog toggs did not keep me dry. Stopped at a dealer in Kentucky, and bought a hi viz rain suit.
The bikes did well except for my friends Tri Glide, his voltage regulator went, picked up a new one in Nashville, and installed it in the parking lot.
Nashville is an awesome city, lots of fun, great southern hospitality and exceptional talent. Took a day trip to the Jack Daniels distillery, well worth the time and money.
After Nashville, we ran all back roads including the dragon, 28, 74, and 441 up to Gatlinburg. I gotta say, the Rushmore did so good carving the mountain roads compared to my 06 that I had last time I was here. - What a machine!
Logged just north of 1800 miles, and had a great time.
