CycleGear is a great spot, but you'll save a lot more money ordering from STG. Once you decide what you want, I'll hook you up with my guy Jason at STG and you'll get even better prices than they show on their website ;-)
Thanks brother I appreciate it.

Not sure if you may be interested in a nearly new Bell Star (used it twice) but here is the link to my original post.

If it was bigger I'd be all over it, but I need an XL.

Thanks

Make sure you try them on, different models within the same manufacturer can fit differently.

I commented on your comms question post, not a fan of Nolan, helmet is cheaply made, heavy and huge.

I've had about 9 different helmets in the last few years. My FF preference is Arai, light, quality materials, and not as large as some. This is kind of you get what you pay for going here. You can find some of the top end FF (Shoei also) helmets on sale under $500 (a previous year's model) and they are normally available at brick and mortar stores to try on. You can always shop online once you found the make and model.

Had good experiences with CycleGear and Revzilla. Hope this helps ..

Fit is HUGELY important and trying all the makes and models on you may consider is a must. We roll with 3/4 Shoei RJ Platinum helmets and I just ordered a Shoei Neotec modular for when my buddy and I take to our traveling. When it comes to helmets I always revert to what my pop told me years ago, "Wear cheap (and clean) underwear but not a cheap helmet or boots".

Just like 75% of all women are wearing the wrong sized bra (until they are properly educated and fitted), most riders choose the wrong sized helmet because they don't know all the crazy nuances of the proper fit. Most buy lids that are too loose because the next size down felt too snug. Here is a great guide to go by, these guys made an excellent and informative video...

Well, spoke to Jason over @ STG, and got my order in. I got the "Born Free" Bell RS-1, couldn't pass on their price of $249, got the photochromic shield for it too. The Graphics available on the RS-1's were not really to the liking of my wife so we ordered her a Shoei Qwest Goddess in pink/black, and I added a dark smoke shield for her. Free shipping on the order, can't wait until everything comes in. Will ship Fedex ground so sometime next week the stuff should be here. I hope neither one of us has fitment issues, as I feel we got a great deal on everything.

Thanks RGCBandit for putting me in touch with Jason.

Helmets are in today, the transitions lens on my Bell is just SICK! Freaking awesome. Wore the helmet around the house for 30 minutes or so today and no issues, wife did the same with hers. Got the SENA units installed and they're charging now. We are going for a ride tomorrow, going to see Howard for my JRI shocks, so we will get our first road test with FF helmets and blue tooth, and then test the suspension on the way home. I need to get the damn madstad on tonight for the ride tomorrow.

Helmets both look fantastic in person.
