Inexpensive headset for stereo system

My better half was complaining about the stock headset and those flaps the speakers fit in on the helmet. Not wanting to spend a ton of dough, I found this headset on Ebay. It was only $34.90, looks about like the Harley version for $119. She used it and loves it. I tried it this weekend and it works really well. Pretty good sound at high speeds, not “high fidelity” but work pretty darn good. Used with a half helmet. I’ve never tried the HD version to compare it to but I have no complaints with this one. Looks like they took a Logitech computer headset and wired it to the HD 7 pin. Works great with music and the bike communications system. Just a heads up if you are looking for a less expensive alternative. I’m in no way affiliated with the seller just passing on the tip for a less expensive headset. Seller is vinnietracy.

I use something similar to this: http://www.spoiledbiker.com/harleyadap.html

I don't ride two up too much and don't use the cb, so this allows me to just plug in some earphones and it works great. I have two of them, so that when my wife does ride with me (she rides her own mostly), we can both hear the music in our earphones.

I bought mine on ebay, so they aren't exactly the same as the one shown.

Holy crap, great info!!! Hopefully they'll work as well for me. I just ordered a set of 2 and then a 3rd one that comes without the speakers. I just bought a 13 Ultra and 'assumed' it came with 2 headsets....wrong assumption. I did come with one but designed for a 3/4 helmet which I don't wear

2013 Roadglide Ultra, Big Blue Pearl. Madstad 13 inch windshield, Helibars, Mustang lowdown seat, Ohlins 2-2a rear shocks, Comfort rear crash bars, Airwing tourpak rack, 360 adjustable highway pegs, 'bright ass light' taillight, Boom speakers and amp, Daymaker headlight, Motolights running lights...buncha other crap
