Hello all,
I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am HywayBo and I just purchased my first Harley Davidson. I've been riding since I was around 13 years old (I am 54 years old now). Started out with mini bikes. Got a Kawasaki KE125 for my 15th birthday and at 16 I bought a KZ650. From there I jumped in the sport bike scene, owning several different Ninjas. It was the ZX-11D1 that convinced me I needed to slow down when I was clocked at 176 mph. Those were crazy times. I traded that on a 2003 GL1800 Goldwing. After 15 years, I felt it was time for a change. So, my research brought me to the 2017 Road Glide Ultra. I picked it up on May 25th and have almost completed the break in period. I have to admit this bike is amazing. Believe it or not, it rides a lot smoother than my Goldwing did and has more power. I've already installed the Stage 1 kit and had it lowered 2 inches. This is, by far, the best bike I've ever owned.
