As I ponder upgrading my suspension system (front and back) on my 11 RGU, I wonder if the larger forks can be installed on the 09-13 RGs? I mean they have the same frames, right?
I can see an issue with the old nacelle due to increased diameter on the slider covers, but you never know unless you ask.

I would think there are better options just to upgrade what you got. I heard the bearing on the new triple trees are different too. I would think it could be done, but honestly don't know.
I am running 2014 49mm forks with 30mm Ohlins fully adjustable cartridges inside on my 2011 FLTRX , Howard at Motorcyclemetals makes triple trees for mounting 49mm forks on bike that come with 41mm forks
Cool, how does it ride and did you use the same cowling for the speedo and tach?
