Finally had the opportunity to install and all I can say is AWESOME! I would like to say I could have installed the J&M amp (they are great people, and would have been an easier install) but for the price this is a great option. Thank you for the review with this option and your install info!

I am glad to hear that, I have the same set up J&M Rokkers and a RF PBR300-2 amp, just not installed yet. The 7 1/4 speakers are good size but they do have smaller magnet. I also bought the mount from H-donut for the RF amp. Will let you know how happy I am with this set up when I get it installed. Thanks for the posting.

RF Amp

I have the RF PBR 300-4 on my 13. Only running the two fairing 6.5 speakers now, As soon as I can find a decent painter here in MD, to match the Hog Tune 6x9 lids I have I'll be installing those.

Thanks for the info on this I have the 300x4 amp and just bought the rockford amp mount and wiring setup kit. Looking to install as soon as I can be in the garage long enough that I don't freeze.

I think that thread is 3 yrs old and there are better options now. If you're looking for bang for buck the 4 channel amps from Soundstreams and Cerwin Vega will drive the right speakers to be heard going down the freeway, although you may lose fm radio. If fm radio is important than the amps from Biketronics, Arc and RF t400ad4 are the way to go. I have spent too much money in this area and wish I would used the higher end components the first time around. Good luck.
