Hi, 2013 roadie ultra. Washed bike went to ride to blow off water and front speakers wont work. Maybe a little static but that is it. Checked fuses and made sure all volume controls were working. Might they work after drying over nite. This bike is no stranger to water either from washing or rain. Any ideas, Thank You, WR.
After sitting over nite still not working. When turning rear speakers off very slight scratching sound from front. Have to put ear next to speakers to hear it.
Anyone have any ideas before I pull outer faring. Not really wanting to do that. Thanks again, WR.
Gary I think you are right. I belive I left the aux plug open. Hate the thought of buying a new system. Guess the fairing will come off.
Damn the questions of what system to replace it with if it comes to that. Thanks,WR
On the good side, it will dry out. It just takes some time. The moisture is grounding out the channel. One time it happen to me, it took a few weeks to dry out. That's when the moco put the amps under the tour pack on the ultras.
HK's aren't bad HU's , there's just better options out there. The speakers are kinda junky though. The moco dropped the external amp when they switched to HK. The old amps only powered the rear speakers anyways.
Thanks for all advice and info everyone. GREAT to know help and advice is always there when needed'WR
