Looking for anyone that have installed 2014+ Tour Pak Speaker Pods

Q-Hog, I didn't take any pics during install. Looking back I probably should have. The trickiest part is obviously cutting the holes in the Pak. I deviated from the instructions in this regard. The instructions say to go straight ahead and drill a 1 1/4" hole (can't remember the actual size). When you tape off the section you're going to cut and trace the hole, you'll see that this is a pretty ballsy move. It's a really large hole right on the corner of the pak. I decided I would drill a 3/4" hole first. I then went in with a Dremel and slowly increased the diameter of the hole until the plastic bracket that mounts on the inside of the Pak fit. It worked out great and was much safer. When you attach the plastic bracket to the pods, the bracket helps to line the pods up perfectly. Finished product looks flawless. Finally, I decided to route my speaker wires through the plastic bracket grill into the Pak. From the Pak I then went through the bottom of the Pak. Harley instructions want you to route the speaker wires out of the inner side of the pods. This leaves exposed wires and looks tacky in my opinion.

In conclusion, unless you have done this install a couple of times before, I would start with a small hole and go bigger as needed. I believe this only added an extra hour total to the install. If you mess up that hole, you may see it on the side of the Pak.

Good luck, and if you want any pics of the installed pods let me know.

Pic will help. Thx. you can send them to my email (quehawg@yahoo.com). I tried lining them up and the bolt holes are real close to the edge of the t/p, not close to how it's illustrated in the diagram.
