Anyone install a Hogtunes amp?

I have speakers mounted in the lower fairing, all wired up and for the life of me can't get the power to reach the battery. I have the amp placed on top of the OEM head unit and wiring down and centered, then under the tank's console. Yeah I followed the directions and just think
there is a trick to it. I know Hogtunes sells a side mount for the amp and maybe that will give me the cable length I need.

Thanks all,

Bob

Thanks. I did just that, soldered, heat shrink wrapped and it's up and running. Hogtunes sounds pretty good. I can't believe the difference over stock tunes.....

I have but I am trying to get the stock wiring harness from the Hogtunes amp to reach the battery. For some reason it's short.

I use to have a HT system but I upgraded to the J&M system but if I remember right you would need the mounting plate for the amp to get the wiring to reach.
You may also need the fairing lower speaker wiring harness for the speaker wiring to reach the fairing lower speakers.

This sounds like the same thing I was thinking earlier. I see the plate on their website and from the looks of it, it would give me more room on the power cables. Thanks.
