I have an Arc 125.2 amp that I used for awhile in my 02 FLHT. It worked great, except that on long rides on hot days, the thermal protection would kick in & shut the amp down. I used it with an Alpine cda9886 head unit & Kicker speakers, as well as Polk Audio speakers. Its an older version without the little fan. I still have it, and am debating now what to do with my system on my '15. I might just break down & go with Biketronics, or try and build a setup with either the Arc or the SS 520.4 that I have as well.

Arc audio makes some excellent components. It's not advertised, but if you look closely at their amps and the amps of some other folks that sell amps but don't manufacture them in house, it is easy to see that their stuff is simply rebranded arc equipment.

Based on how the rebranded stuff performs compared to the actual arc equipment, it seems like they downgrade some of the components in the amps they manufacture for others to maintain the premium performance for their products.

I'm not saying that's a bad thing at all, but realize that just because it may look like an arc audio amp and cost as much, that doesn't mean it will perform just like one.

Sounds like the best set up for our rides are the Arc Audio amp with Focal speakers. Haven't heard either yet but this is the setup I will be going with when I finally pull the trigger.

IDK, Biketronics amp and Arc Audio Moto 602 speakers are a pretty hot set up as well. That's what I plan on going with. Focals didn't hold up at volume compared to Hertz and Moto speakers. Especially in the bass department.

I asked the same question about Arc or BT and everyone said to go with Arc. I don't know. I'm sure they both sound great.

Arc Moto 600.4 with Focals

I am running the Arc Moto 600.4 have previously used the the 125.4 and the smaller 125.2BX . All fit under a FLTR nose the moto gives you the best power for size and will fit if tucked under the glovebox. Pushed a pair of 6.5" focals and 5X7 Hawg Wired in the saddlebags. Awesome setup beat a pair of Hawg Wired reference 400 amps that proved troublesome.
