All, have the Hogtunes Big RG kit and lower fairing woofers installed on my 2012 RG Ultra. Well one of the woofer covers flew off the other day and I'm looking for a more secure option. Is there any way to stuff the Hogtunes woofers in a standard lower fairing speaker pod? Would like to hold on to the speakers until I can afford a complete stereo overhaul. Thanks

Sloride,
Trying to put my Hogtunes speakers in a different lower pod set-up. I took the covers off since one was destroyed. Pic attached... View attachment 273873

There are several people that make adapters to put 6.5's in lower pods, Diabilo Royal sells them for about $50 on eBay. Hogworkz sell a really good 6.5" lower pod in Vivid Black for $149.00

You could also use the cvo speaker pods. Thats what I have on mine. They accept 6.5" speakers and are reasonably priced. They are for the 13 and back vented lowers.

Somewhat related...can you actually HEAR the low end from your woofers mounted in your front lowers (While riding at freeway speeds)? I have speakers in my lowers also, but it is difficult to hear low frequencies on a motorcycle when moving at freeway speeds. Just curious...
