What am I missing?

I'm having a 2 part problem with 2016 Road Glide with the 4.3 radio. When listening to Pandora on my IPhone 6 it connects fine through Bluetooth as long as my phone isn't plugged into the USB connection. As soon I plug it in, I can't get the music through my speakers. Also, the volume is too low, is there any way to change it?

I can bluetooth Pandora or plug into my USB port so I'm not sure why it's not working for you.
Turn on your bike.
Start up Pandora on your i-phone.
Plug your phone into your USB port.
If the music turns off after you had already turned it on and plugging in, re-open once again your i-phone while still plugged into your bikes USB port and hit the play button in pandora and it should play.
If you turn on Pandora & then plug it into your USB port it will not read until you press play on Pandora again.
Try that and report back.
Once again I can play Pandora on my i-phone & can use it by way of bluetooth or by plugging it into my bikes usb port as long as I press play again once system is up and running.

I can run my music through a wired setup and get calls through Bluetooth. I can also play music through Bluetooth and charge with usb while still playing, and receive phone calls as well. The only difference is i am using spotify or apple music instead of pandora, but dont see why that would matter.

I first plug in phone to usb then connect through Bluetooth and play music. If i connect in opposite order it will try to play the music saved on the phone.
