Please by all means share your adventures on the way to Shark Week in Canada on this thread.
We're pretty much ready for you all to show up. Some last minute details and setting up of some stuff in the parking lot for the bike wash and hockey shootout
I woke up at 3:30am this morning with my mind racing on what I still need to do to prep for the trip and also and finish up at work. Let it all end soon. I am ready to go....now! Looking forward to the happy dance.
I so wanted to go on this ride, but alas, someone needs to stay here and work, making fuel, so that all the others can ride free. Enjoy the ride, that is truly beautiful country up there. BTW, Border guards do not allow guns, nor fire wood, into Canada, so forget bringing either.
I'm taking the flag Sunday to meet Smarty at the Oklahoma City National Memorial for a picture and to begin the journey north. See you and the other Southern Sharks later in the day to celebrate the beginning of our long awaited odyssey.
Northstar & Ms Star , wife and I did Mt Rushmore , Crazy Horse , Deadwood , Sturgis etc today , tomorrow we head out of Rapid City SD and will go to Cody WY making our way north
Made our way from Hays this morning to Wounded Knee Memorial, up thru Badlands National Park to Custer, SD. Rode some great Nebraska roads (no kidding) west and north out of McCook.

What was suppose to be a 6 hours riding and 2 hours for stops Ride today from Rapid City , SD to Cody , Wy turned into a 12 hour day, NorthStar said he had the map in his head , no worries , no problems , when we saw the sign that said Montana State line we knew we had issues , we back tracked a little to get to our hotel reservations in Cody and saw some breath taking views so all ended well
Pulled in Jackson late yesterday. Up early today for Yellowstone. While leaving a gas station I noticed a blue RG, then the SW shirt, whipped back in and met my first fellow glider JHS
