The day she came home.

This Weekend I filled the tank, added stabil and fogged the cylinders. Let the tear down begin.

It's going to be a slow process and I'm in no hurry as the snow will be here soon.:mad::mad:

I'll update as I go. A lot of parts need to go to the powder coater for a gloss black finish and a few parts already on order.

Worked on the bike last night. Small update but, an interesting adventure.

1st as someone else on the forum had posted my right side shock was mounted upside down.:eek:

Custom Dynamics LED's with smoke lenses front and rear, Black curved Kuryakyn plate frame, and custom dynamics LED tri-bar. Here are some pics with the lights on and off plus a video ([caution my ugly mug is in the video).

An interesting side note on the tri-bar. I've been working with custom dynamics on getting it to work for a few days. Initial suspicion was bad harness from custom dynamics, they sent me a new one right away. AWESOME customer service. Unfortunately the new harness had the same issues. When plugged in and bike turned on the rear running lights were extremely dim then when brake was applied all rear lights would turn off. After installing the new harness that the tech at Custom Dynamics tested on a bike they had before shipping produced the same error I suspected MOCO to be at fault. Pinning out the wires on the rear light connector I found that one of the 2 Grounds was shorted. The harness at fault plugs in under the seat and only has one ground at the origin and in the middle of the harness has a splice that splits into 2 ground wires. I decided since the bike is in pieces and taking just a harness to the dealer would be a circus. So.... I pulled the harness out of the bike, unwrapped the electrical tape and found the splice. I opened the splice and found the ground wire that had no continuity hand even been stripped before they bonded them together.:confused: I stripped the wires, soldered everything together correctly heat shrinked, added strain relief, and retaped the entire harness. Installed and everything works great.

Interestingly enough the harness had an "Inspected" sticker on it as well.

Finally able to update this thread with a bit of progress.
All the parts came back from powder coat a week ago and the snow melted enough from the shop driveway that I could actually get up the hill. Primary cover, floorboards, passenger pegs, foot controls, and exhaust installed, also wired up the Powervision and auto tune. Sorry the pics turned out crappy camera on my phone was not happy with the lighting last night. I'll post better ones later as progress continues.

I think it sounds great! A friend of mine has a 2015 with the Rush Wrath 2 into 1, which according to Frank is the Dragula 1, the sound and fit are a little different between the two. The Dragula 2 Head pipe fit is a little nicer and tucks in closer to the motor. Sound wise the Dragula 2 is a little deeper and less "metallic". It has a bit more of the deep rumbling, hollow sound like a D&D fat cat without being quite as loud. To me its like a cross between the Dragula 1 and a D&D fat Cat.

Fixed video link in previous post.

Here is how it currently sits for this winters projects.

I didn't powder-coat the rear wheel last year due too time constraints and I didnt think it would show that much, I was wrong. Noticed the silver lip every time I walked up to the bike.

I also installed a set of Dragos 580 cams.

Yesterday I began cutting the radio mount for installing a double din head unit. (I'll try to remember to get lots of progress pics for this)

Cutting completed. I then sanded everything smooth, taped everything off and spray painted the bare metal.

Most of what was removed.

Still need to take pics of the Stealth 3 license plate frame install and custom dynamics plugz for running lights.

Finally some new pics and updates. I used the Metra single din bracket for the street glide and cut out the face plate to fit a double din. Sanded, primed and painted. As you can see there are a few spots that I need to touch up and the whole face plate still needs a good color sanding an polishing. Since I'm using a Pioneer 4100nex which has a motorized face I had to put some washers under the mounting brackets to bring everything up high enough for the face to swing out (sorry no pic of this). I also installed sirius radio which seems to have good reception with the antenna installed in the factory spot for the gps antenna under the fairing. I'm not going to spend much more time on this since I've pretty much decided to ditch this inner fairing as soon as the new piece from fairing factory is release in May. This is just a quick and dirty setup to get me riding for the next few months.

Complete setup details (for now):

Head Unit: Pioneer 4100NEX
Amplifier: Diamond Micro 4 v2
Speakers: 2 DD Audio VO 6.5's in stock location (requires considerable cutting to pods)

Here are two quick videos.
