Inner fairing painted

I have a candy orange bike, if I do the inner would the sun really bounce off it and give me too much glare. I know it looks nice but...
Also what are you guys paying to have it done?

I was quoted 275 for mine in chrome yellow. Hadn't thought about reflection. Interested to hear what folks have to say.

My inner is Merlot Sunglo that comes to life in the sun! I don't think it will bother you when riding.

My inner is Rio Red. I don't have any problems with the sun. Always wear shades any way.

I wouldn't worry about reflection from a painted surface. Ever been blinded by an orange car on the road? The chrome dash on your fuel tank is where you will get reflection.

Candy Orange is one of the dreaded PPG "factory pack" colors, the tinted layer is $250 a pint and the main layer color could be around $160 or so, then you will need primer or clear.

$450 will barely cover the materials for a painter, this is one of those times that ordering a pre painted inner might be best.

I agree. I had the dealer paint it and about broke even except if you order a painted one you have your stock one to sell.
