Location: Were it's too cold to ride in winter, arghhh!
Harley's are not the only bike out there!!!! I like motorcycles and I like many brands and models. I like to ride on two wheel's. If you share the passion, you wouldn't mind what kind of bike your'e son rides as long as it fits him. Yes, there is many good reasons to ride à Harley today but it wasn't the case from the beguinning. Harley is a trend, a Life style, a good access to dealers, parts, fun to personnalise. It's fun on the bike and off the bike. Altough, I find that riding a stock Harley is not that exciting. It start to change when you put some aftermarket pipes.
Moto Guzzi has their own charm and you should be proud that he is not following his father and has his own taste and has his own identity!
Looks like you did a fine job of raising him Nevada. He has a mind of his own, and is wants to do something different. Personally I don't have anything against any motorcycle, we all have different likes and dislikes. Would I buy one-No, but then it's not my choice. It's all good...
Ridin a two lane montser, feedin on one cage at a time ...
I don't know much about Moto Guzzi but if Italian bikes are anything like Italian cars he should be prepared to dump a lot of money into it for repairs. That said, it's a nice looking bike. Harley's are my bike of choice but I've owned other brands and they're all fun to ride.
Does anyone know anything about "these things". It's the new Moto Guzzi "California" edition. He says it's in his future....guess I didn't raise him right.
Input please if you got it.
Your son probably wants the Guzzi for the same reason we bought our RG's, their different! Both my son and myself have Guzzi's in the garage in addition to our Harleys. They're simply a v-twin in the other direction.
